I feel you. Here’s a little inspiration for you.
I’m not beautiful. My hair isn’t pretty enough, my waist isn’t small enough, there’s not enough makeup in the world to cover my acne.
1 Peter 3:3-4: Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit.
Psalm 139:14: I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
The walls are crashing in. I have no hope.
Romans 12:12: Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
Romans 15:13: May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
I’m afraid of what’s going to happen today, tomorrow, for the rest of my life.
Joshua 10:25: Joshua said to them, “Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Be strong and courageous. This is what the Lord will do to all the enemies you are going to fight.”
Judges 6:23: But the Lord said to him, “Peace! Do not be afraid. You are not going to die.”
I feel worthless.
John 3:16: For God so loved the world, He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Quick bit here- Some of you have probably heard this several times before. But just think. God loved YOU so much that He gave his own Son. His own Son. He died for US. I’d say that gives us some worth, don’t you think?
It feels like I’m all alone in life.
Isaiah 41:40: Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and uphold you with my righteous hand.
Psalm 62:2: Truly He is my rock and my salvation, He is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
Here’s two inspiring songs for you, too.
I hope you carry this with you throughout your day, and remember you’re loved.
