NaNoWriMo Recap+ Blogiversary

Which one do I start with?

Okay, Blogiversary it is.

Three years ago on November 28th, I wrote my first blog post (which is long gone). I never knew how it would end up being so amazing. I have met some awesome people: Megan, Allison, Loren, Clara, Misty, Grace (The Girl Upstairs), Grace (From The Tip of Grace’s Pen), and so many more. Thank you to you all.

Winner 2016 - Square

I finished NaNoWriMo with 70,803 words (or 69,005 according to the validation program) . Ah… I ended up changing my goal to 70,000 because I had to sleep and would not have time to write 5,000 more words, but I expect to get 10-30k out of my novel still. My worst day was 14 words (!), and my best day was 17k words, my record. My stats are here. I was kind of uncomfortable with my real name, but other than that I don’t know why I used a pen name since I made the account months ago. Oh well.

To all of you who won, congratulations! Even if you did not meet your goal, you still got some words written, and that is still amazing (I really need to know more synonyms for amazing. I’ve had to edit out of my post about four times now).

I don’t know what I am going to do with Mission Prodigy. I have yet to come up with a better title, and I don’t know if I like the whole idea of publishing a book in the “super hero” genre. I feel like it’s not my genre,  but I may change it to be more my style. After I finish it, I will probably edit it, just for the sake of it. Plus, I’m attached now and Heidi wants to read it.

How did you guys all do in NaNoWriMo? I personally missed reading everyone’s blog posts all November, but I’m sure it was worth it because books.

    1. Thank you! On mornings I wanted to be productive, I woke up earlier than usual, and learning to write faster helps utilize your time better. Did you do NaNo?

Hello! Thank you for commenting, it really makes my day! Please be careful with your words and make sure they are appropriate for all ages. Also, please only leave one or two links (it will get caught in the spam folder otherwise).
