Hi ya’ll. Kaitlyn here. Yesterday was our first day of school.
Sunday evening, I realized that day was the last day of summer! (I know it looks like the after noon but it is Monday evening but let’s just pretend I took it on Sunday.)
This is Natalie, McKenna, Lily and I in our ‘study hall’. Natalie teaches us science, history, and math. (Sorry I didn’t get the book cover!) Next year, I will be old enough to be a teacher.
This is Felicity and Saige during reading time.
We were reading Molly.
Lily at recess.
She was a little late for her next class.
McKenna in Home Arts.
School was a little boring, but I’ll get used to it. Plus Mom goes to work everyday.
A.KA. seventh grade.
This is Kaitlyn signing out.
Hi! It’s McKenna. It’s nice to be back home, after a whole weekend of camping with Mom and her friend Miss Amy. Anything my mom writes is in bold.
That’s me and Josefina. I was so excited to meet her. Kaitlyn always told me about her, and she was right.
We went on a hike, which Josefina doesn’t usually get since she doesn’t live near a forest.
I fell down and broke my leg. We drove to the hospital.
In the hospital there was a soda machine. After I got my cast, I was very thirsty. The soda machine was very mean. GIVE ME SPRITE!
I taught Josefina to the best of my ability gymnastics, even with my cast.
We took a short hike. I forgot the camera the rest of the day, so I don’t have very many pictures.
That day was the last day, today, Sunday.
We climbed a mountain!
Okay, so what if it was made of gravel and only a few yards high? And Mom helped me a little.
Okay, a lot.
After climbing that mountain, we took a shower/bath.
After we packed up our campsite, we went to the Recycled Tire Playground.
There was a tire car!
Us on the tire snake.

That was the end, but we had a great tine. I miss Josefina. Thanks, McKenna.
Hi guys! Lily here. Natalie and I have been checking out the stuff for the camping trip. I sent Natalie to look at the food. Natalie, what kind of food is there?
Well, there are s’mores, sandwiches, cereal, granola bars, chips, and all kinds of delicious goodies. I can’t wait!
After all that spying, the girls and I decided to get some extra beauty sleep.
But, our joy was short lived, for soon after, Mom woke us up. Not to leave, but to tell us some horrible news: she was only brining one doll! I was not going to be left put on the camping trip.
In the end, Mom knew we were trying to get the spot. So, she chose McKenna. I was upset, after we all tried so hard to impress Mom! Maybe that’s why McKenna was chosen. McKenna, how did you do that?
Well, I knew Mom would chose one of us not just because we were trying to impress her.
I guess McKenna chose the right technique. I guess it was fair. Well, I gotta go now. Lily signing out!
