Hey everyone! So Loren posted her answers to some questions on a blog called Studies in Character, and I thought it would be fun to try some of them. I’m doing the Introductions first.
What’s your name? Do you have a nickname? Is there any meaning behind your name or your nickname?
Well, if you want to be technical about it, it’s Astarine. My nickname is Astrid, which means beauty. See, we were given nicknames when we were little because no one wanted to call each other by our “hero” names.
How old do you look? Is that your real age? How old are you actually?
Hm… well, I probably look about maybe in my early twenties, maybe 17 or 18. I’m actually 15.
What’s your gender?
I’m a girl. Obviously.
What’s your eye color? How easy is it to tell your eye color from a distance?
My eyes are a sparkling green. It’s very easy to tell from a distance.
What’s your ethnicity? Does anybody ever get it wrong?
Ugh, great, now I need to go ask Luna what ethnicity means.
Okay, I’m back. So I do not have an ethnicity. I’m not human, so, yeah…
What’s your build? How tall are you? Are you strong?
I don’t have muscle, or anything. I’m about 5’8. I’m pretty strong in my arms, since as I said, I am not human and restricted to natural strength. With my mind? I can carry things of any weight. I’m the only student at the School with telekinesis.
What’s your foremost physical trait- the first thing someone will notice about your appearance?
Well, my hair. Obviously. It’s a beautiful shade of pink. (This color.)
What’s your favorite outfit, or what do you wear the most? Why is that your favorite?
How can I choose? They’re all so cute!
How do you usually introduce yourself to new people?
At the School everyone knows everyone, so there nothing. In the human world, Raven came up to me and everyone knows her, so now everyone knows me.
What would you do if you were a pirate?
Ew! No way would I ever be a pirate! If I was one I would run away.
As you can tell, Astrid is my more- how do I put this?- sassy of my two main characters.
If you haven’t already, I suggest you check out Studies in Character, it’s an amazing blog!
