Voyages D’été, Part 4

On time this week! Just letting you know, this is not accurate. I am taking a famous person and making up a story with them.  I also tried to fix the scenes, but you also might see a cord or two :). Parts: One, two, three. Oh my goodness! I just realized that in Voyages D’été part two, I said Saige instead of Emma! Sorry!

New Characters:

McKenna as Julia

Katelyn as Maya

Lily as Princess Emma

“Bye,” Caroline called. “Wait, where are you going?”

“I don’t know,” I shouted as my voice drowned in wind.

“Oof!” I cried as I hit the ground. “Where have you taken  me now, Summer?”

“Get to work!” a lady cried as she jumped on me.

“Huh?” I asked.

“You know what I mean! Clean the prince’s room, bring the seven-year old princess her breakfast, wash the dishes, then se me to get your next chores. You have three hours,” the lady said. “Do you understand me?”

“Uh, yes?” I said.

“Good. Now hurry up,” she said with a push.

“Now where are these places,” I thought.

Then another girl my age came up.

“You must be new. My name is Maya. And that’s Julia, but she makes us call her Mistress Julia. But when she’s not around, we call her Julia,” Maya said.

“I’m Emma,” I said. “No question about my name like with Caroline. I must be closer to the future,” I thought as I glanced to a 1957 calendar.

“Here is a map of the palace. You got off easy with chores,” Maya said as she showed me the map.

“What do you normally do?” I asked.

“Oh, sweeping, mopping, cleaning the bathrooms-,” Maya said as I interrupted with an,” Ew!”

“So, what exactly is our job?” I asked

Maya sighed and said, “We are scullery maids. We are the only ones so far.  I have been here four two years. I have endured terrible treatment. No one bothers to make clothes for us, so we get a hand-me-down. If it’s too nice, Julia tears it and stains it. I could be called a slave, but I get shelter and very little pay. You had better go now, or we will both be whipped.”

I was not looking forward to this adventure. I followed the map to the prince’s room. Boy, was it a mess!

When would Summer bother to show up? There were dirty clothes on the floor, an unmade bed, trash everywhere, and toys scattered all over.

I started to clean up as quick as possible. I wanted to find Summer soon. When I was done, I went to the kitchen.

Oh, the delight! I wanted some.

Then I saw a rugged bag with my name on it.

“Summer! Stop time for a sec! Where have you been! I’ve been looking all over for you!” I said.

“Sorry, it took me a while to get here. How have you been?” the fairy said as she clapped her hands to stop time.

“Terrible! My muscles are sore and I’m too hungry for a healthy eleven year old!” I cried.

“Sorry ’bout that,” Summer said as she clapped her hand and a lovely meal appeared. I ate heartily, and every time I ate, more food appeared. Fairy food is good. When I was full, Summer clapped hands to start time again.

Then she disappeared, and I went back to work.

“Here you go, your Highness,” I said.

“Thank you, but you can call me Emma,” Emma said. “That’s my name!!!!!!!!! Wait, I think I read about Princess Emma before. I’m in England!” I thought as I felt Summer rolling her eyes.

After a tiring two hours (though if you count the time with Summer, two and a half) I did the dishes. And it was way different, mind you. There wasn’t a dishwasher! I had to go get water from a well! I thought the 50’s were more civilized.

I dropped the rag, but before I picked it up, I knew I needed a break for a minute.

While I was resting, someone came up. I thought it was Julia to yell at me, but no.

“Come with me, we’re going on an adventure!” the princess cried.

I fell in.

Should Emma(s)…

Princess Emma help Emma and Maya escape?

Go on an adventure in the woods?
